SOCCER: after school

 Soccer will begin again on Monday next January 15th from 2.45pm-3.45pm. There will be two sessions run at the same time. One for the pupils in Fifth and Sixth Classes and the other for pupils in Third and Fourth classes. We are very fortunate to have Jason our coach from the FAI with us every Monday.


 Welcome back to all pupils and their families as we begin our second term. Happy New Year to everybody!


 Scoil Mháthair Dé has been chosen by the Department of Education to take part in the Digital Learning Framework Trial during the 2017-18 school year. A new curriculum for Digital Learning will be in place for all schools in September 2018. We are very lucky for our school to have been chosen for this trial. During the year our pupils will explore digital learning more and more. iPads will be used for learning during the year. We must begin fundraising to afford more as they year goes on. Exciting times in a digital world! Please refer to the 'Digital Learning Framework' under the Policies tab on this website.


 Fifth Class are going on a trip to Curraghchase Forest Park this week with a tutor from the Irish Heritage Council. They will study the habitat of the Red Squirrel and explore the forest park while having a fun day. Watch this space for photographs of our pupils in action!
