Dear Parents and Guardians,
We welcome all the new pupils who have joined our school this year and welcome back all of our existing pupils.
Our wish for you is that you will be very happy in Scoil Mháthair Dé and we want you all to achieve to the best of your ability and reach your full
potential. Our dedicated and experienced staff team work diligently to ensure that every child is treated fairly, with respect, affording each pupil the opportunity to succeed to the best of their ability.
After-school activities are organised by staff in the areas of Gaelic Football, Soccer, Chess and Choir to date. Our Parents Association is representative of our diverse school community and support wholeheartedly the great work being done by SMD staff. We believe the support of parents working together with teachers provides for the best possible education for your children.
Scoil Mháthair Dé is a Mainstream school with four Special classes. Our special classes comprise of two classes for pupils with Autism and two classes for pupils with SLSD, (Specific Speech and Language Difficulties). We are a diverse school community representing 46 countries. We share many cultures, languages, traditions and religions. We are all equal and we are all very happy to belong to the community that is Scoil Mháthair Dé.
