We are a diverse school community from many countries and share many cultures, languages, traditions and religions. We are all equal and we are all very happy to belong to the community that is Scoil Mháthair Dé.

WHIT WEEKEND

This is a long bank holiday weekend. The school will be closed on Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th June. Wishing you all a lovely weekend and hoping the sun will shine!

REMINDER RE BOOK RENTAL SCHEME

The deadline for acceptance into the Book Rental Scheme for the next school year 2017-2018 is Friday June 2nd. Please sign the form and put the correct money into and envelope and give it to the class teacher. Thanks! 

The LANDS OF MAKE-BELIEVE

 Our school show 'The Lands of Make Believe' will be performed by the boys and girls of Scoil Mháthair Dé on Wednesday May 31st at 7pm in the school hall. All pupils will need to be in their classrooms by 6.30pm. Pupils can be collected after the show from their classrooms via the outside cl

CONGRATULATIONS

 Congratulations to all the pupils from Sixth Class on receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday May 27th in St Joseph's Church from Bishop Brendan Leahy. It is a very special occasion for all families involved.

BOOK RENTAL SCHEME

A Book Rental Scheme is running in the school to ease the financial burden on parents. Application forms will be sent home on May 17th and must be returned to the class teacher with the exact fee by the deadline of June 2nd. No applications will be processed after June 2nd. A deposit is

RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES

Congratulations to all the boys and girls from Second Class who received their First Holy Communion in St. Joseph's Church on Saturday May 6th. It is a very special day for pupils and their families. 

MEETING FOR PARENTS OF NEW PUPILS
