We welcome all the new pupils who have joined our school this year. Our wish for you is that you will be very happy in Scoil Mháthair Dé and we want you all to achieve to the best of your ability and reach your full potential

We are a diverse school community from many countries and share many cultures, languages, traditions and religions. We are all equal and we are all very happy to belong to the community that is Scoil Mháthair Dé.

We ask you to always try your best, be kind to everybody and show good example. Always keep our school rules. We are all proud of our school and proud of our pupils. It is very important to us that we all respect each other.

MAY BANK HOLIDAY

 School will be closed Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd for the May Bank holiday. Wishing all families a lovely weekend.

SCHOOL SHOW

Rehearsals for our school show begin this week as we begin our final term. All classes in the school will be rehearsing every Tuesday and Wednesday. Every pupil in the school will have an opportunity to perform on stage! Performances will be held May 31st and June 1st 2017. Different classes

JUMBLE SALE 2017

A Jumble Sale can be a fun event where everything and anything is bought and sold! We are holding a Jumble Sale in our school to help with the costs of the forthcoming School Show. It would be super if some parents are free to help on the day. Everybody can help by contributing in some way.

MUSIC GENERATION

 Out tutors from Music Generation performed for all the pupils recently in the school hall in what was a wonderful and engaging performance. It is a great experience for the pupils to see their tutors in action! We are indeed very fortunate in Scoil Mháthair Dé to be involved in the Music Ge

TREE PLANTING CEREMONY

To celebrate National Tree Week 2017 a Mountain Ash tree was planted in the grounds of the school by Michael Hourigan Mayor of the Metropolitian District of Limerick. Our school was delighted to have been chosen to participate in this event. It coincides with the LEAF project that

EASTER HOLIDAYS

The school will close for two weeks on Friday April 7th for Easter holidays and will reopen Monday April 24th to begin the third term. We would like to wish all the families in our school community a joyous and blessed Easter holiday!

LÁ LE PÁDRAIG: ST PATRICK'S DAY 2017

 St Patrick's Day was celebrated in style in Scoil Mháthair Dé where everybody dressed in something green to acknowledge our National holiday! Well done to everybody who joined in our celebration!

CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS SERVICES
