We welcome all the new pupils who have joined our school this year. Our wish for you is that you will be very happy in Scoil Mháthair Dé and we want you all to achieve to the best of your ability and reach your full potential

We are a diverse school community from many countries and share many cultures, languages, traditions and religions. We are all equal and we are all very happy to belong to the community that is Scoil Mháthair Dé.

PARENTS ASSOCIATION

 You are invited to put your names forward to the office if you are interested in having an active role in the Parents Association of Scoil Mháthair Dé. You will be very welcome. 

THIRD CLASS

 It has been agreed that a job sharing position will exist again in Third Class for this school year. Two teachers will be responsible for teaching the class and will work on a week on- week off basis. Parents of the pupils in this class are invited to a meeting at 2.45pm on Wednesday 1

NEWSLETTER

The September 2016 Newsletter can be downloaded from the website. It will also be sent home to each family via the pupils. Newsletters will issue at the beginning of every month. It is important that parents are up-to-date with all the happening in the school. Continue to check the website

PARENTAL CONSENT FORMS

At the beginning of every school year it is necessary to issue all parents with consent forms. Please fill them in, sign them and return to the class teachers promptly. Thank you! 

ONE ENTRANCE

Pupils and parents are kindly asked to enter the school via the main entrance. There is no pedestrian entrance via the back gate any longer. The main gate is the only entrance to the school for pupils, parents and staff from now on. Thank you for your patience and apologies for any disruption

SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Please note that all pupils attending Scoil Mháthair Dé must wear the school uniform every day. Infants generally favour the school tracksuit to be worn daily but the choice is there to also wear the school uniform. In all other classes track suits are to be worn on PE days and on other d

JUNIOR INFANTS

We welcome all our new Junior Infants who are starting school on September 1st. Please note that all Junior Infant pupils will go home at 12noon to help them adjust gradually to the school day. The full school day will apply from Monday September 12th 9.00am  to 1.45 pm. Teachers will collect
