We are a diverse school community from many countries and share many cultures, languages, traditions and religions. We are all equal and we are all very happy to belong to the community that is Scoil Mháthair Dé.

Parents who wish to enrol pupils in Junior Infants will be required to complete an Enrolment Application Form and return it to the school. This form can be downloaded from the website. The enrolment process is by way of written application only. October 1st is the opening day to receive
The school will close at 12 noon on Thursday December 22nd for Christmas holidays. School will reopen on Monday January 9th at 9am. Wishing all pupils and parents the joys and blessings of the Christmas season!

After-school soccer training will resume on Thursday January 12th for pupils in 4th 5th and 6th classes and will continue every Thursday afternoon from 2.45-3.45pm. A fee of €2 must be given to the coach at each session please. Permission forms must be signe

We celebrated lots of activities for Anti-bullying week and focused on the importance of Friendship during Anti-bullying week. Many pupils wore something blue on 'Blue Friday' to make a statement against bullying. See Sixth Class photograph opposite as they celebrated Blue Friday next
It is time to bring completed application forms to the school office for pupils who are ready to begin school in September 2017. Forms can be downloaded from the website.
Music is beginning as an after-school programme on Tuesday November 8th in Room 10. The Junior group will begin at 1.45pm and the Senior group at 2.45. This is a wonderful opportunity for all the pupils that have registered. Drama will continue on Wednesdays in Room 9 at the same times.
